Food Shelf News
Twenty Thanksgiving Food Baskets were distributed in Charlotte on November 22. Many thanks to all of the community members who contributed to making this undertaking possible. As in years past, the Shelburne/Charlotte Rotary graciously donated a turkey for each Food Shelf family. The staff, students and parents at Charlotte Central School organized their annual Thanksgiving food drive. Mrs. Coutu’s class, Ms. Gerson’s class, and Ms. Cluff’s art classes created decorations for the food baskets. Thanks to Karen Speidel, Will Burhans, Lisa Beale, Michael, Allie, and Micki Lazar, Walter Gundel, the Sunday School children at the Charlotte Congregational Church, the Fortin family, The Charlotte Children’s Center, Kerrie Pughe, Jeri Bergdahl, Linda Gilbert, Matt Segel, Mary Volk, Karen Doris, Lynn Alpeter, Sue Hall, Nancy and John Calcagni, Betty Ryan and family, Lisa Elliott, Krissi Najarian, Joe Blanchette, Nancy Bloch, Meredith Moses, Kit Perkins, Rosi Thurber, Lynne Jaunich, Seth Zimmerman, Ryan and Patrice MacHavern, Lisa Sturdevant and Peggy Blanchette and her “Band of Cookie Makers.” If your name was missed, please know that your contributions were very much appreciated.
