“Get Creative @ Saving for College” is a new promotion from the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation and the Vermont Higher Education Investment Plan. Here at the library, we’re getting ready for “Music to My Ears” week featuring Jenny Cianciola. The talented musician, known at Charlotte Central School for her work with the school chorus and annual musical pit orchestras, will share her discoveries during a week of special programs at the Charlotte Library. The programs which run Tuesday and Thursday will tie favorite folktales together with well-loved songs using rhythm, dance and puzzles as well. Three-to-five-year-olds are invited to join Jenny for the morning program at 10:30 a.m. and six-to-eight-year-olds are welcome to sign up for the afternoon program at 1 p.m. on July 21 and July 23. In addition, the Charlotte Library will offer a Family Matters program on Wednesday, July 22 at 5:30 p.m. Musicians, young and old, will bring their instruments to sing and play.
